Since the death of our reigning monarch there have been many words spoken and feelings shared, whilst a nation and world mourn. Her role model in personal lives, and even extending as far as world politics, has been recognised. Her constancy, stability, care for others and an example of how we ought to conduct ourselves, have been echoed by many.
Some people now seek the same qualities amid the uncertainty of how our new monarch will reign.
The Bible can provide the answer you may be looking for. It talks about the example and qualities of God’s Son – our Lord Jesus Christ. When Jesus establishes his Father’s Kingdom on earth, he will reign as King, and God’s Kingdom will be forever.
How wonderful it would be to be part of that Kingdom that has no end – where war, death, illness, and poverty will be no more, and where stability and constancy are assured.
This is the future that God invites each one of us to be part of.
