Are you ‘living in hope’? I am!

I try to live my life in this way under ‘normal’ circumstances but find that this phrase keeps recurring during this pandemic. We are all hoping that scientists will soon come up with a way of stemming the tide of this virus currently besieging the world. What pressure research scientists must be under at the moment with mankind pinning their hope on a possible vaccine to protect us all.

I am hoping that soon we might be able to see our grandchildren, our wider family and each week that goes by we ‘live in hope’ that lockdown will be eased to enable this to happen.

The following verse from Psalm 31 verse 24 “Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the Lord”

So although we all hope for a solution to this worldwide crisis hoping in the Lord is what I find gets me through each day.

Lamentations ch 3 verse 26 “It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord”.
